After reading ‘From Street to Screen‘ I am starting to think that I will need to have different paced sections throughout my film, the slow explorations of different buildings sound-tracked by different audio and voice-over’s are interesting, but I think they will very quickly become boring. Using the idea of repetition and stoppage, which was highlighted in this essay, I think that having different archive footage based sections between each of these building explorations could be an interesting way to structure the film. One particular video I found on YouTube could prove useful in sourcing these stoppage sections. I have contacted the owner of this video about possibly using some of their footage and am awaiting a response, but until then, here are some clips taken from the video in question.
